FAQ's
1. What's the difference between an Executive Assistant and an Elite Specialist?
An Executive Assistant is a generalist right-hand operator - they take ownership of the operational layer of your business across calendar, inbox, AI systems, team coordination, and more. An Elite Assistant is placed into one specific function of your business, such as operations, client coordination, marketing support, or project management, and goes deep in that area rather than across the board. Both are full-time, offshore placements at the same investment level. Not sure which is right for you? That's exactly what our discovery call is for.
2. Are your AgentSync team members offshore or based in Australia?
Our assistants are offshore. AgentSync is an Australian-founded and operated agency, but we place highly skilled, degree-qualified offshore talent from the Philippines - which is what allows us to offer the cost advantage we do. Every assistant is English-speaking, ethically hired, supported by learning and development and fairly paid. This isn't a race to the bottom on cost - it's a smarter way to build your team.
3. Why full-time only? Can I start part-time?
We only place full-time. We know that might feel like a bigger commitment upfront, but experience has shown us that part-time support almost always creates more work for the business owner, not less. When someone is split across multiple clients or reduced hours, they can't truly own anything. A full-time assistant becomes a genuine extension of you - they learn your business, your standards, and your systems in a way that compounds over time. That's the model we stand behind.
4. What is AiSync™ and why does it matter?
AiSync™ is our monthly AI training and upskilling program that every AgentSync assistant is enrolled in. Each month, your assistant builds new skills in AI tools, automation, and workflows - and applies them directly to your business. It's also grounded in ethical AI principles, so you can trust that AI is being used responsibly, not cutting corners. Most placement agencies onboard someone once and leave them to stagnate. AiSync is how we make sure your assistant keeps getting more valuable the longer they're with you.
5. What does the recruitment fee cover?
There is a one-off recruitment fee of $697, payable on signing. This covers our Sync Match™ profiling process, sourcing, and full placement setup and onboarding. It applies to both Executive Assistant and Elite Specialist placements. From that point, your ongoing investment is $3,870 per month.
6. How long does it take to get started?
For Executive Assistants we have two start dates per month - the 1st and 3rd Monday. Once you've signed and your assistant has been matched and prepared, you'll be given a confirmed start date before anything is finalised. In most cases, placements are up and running within a few weeks of the initial call. For Elite Specialists hiring timelines are 3-4 weeks after completion of the Alignment Call with Recruitment and the Client Onboarding Team
7. What if the assistant isn't the right fit?
Every placement is backed by our replacement guarantee. If the match isn't working, we work with you to find the right person. Our Sync Match™ process is designed to get this right the first time - but we stand behind every placement we make.
8. Is AgentSync right for me if I'm just starting out?
Honestly, probably not yet - and we'd rather tell you that upfront. AgentSync works best for business owners who already have a team in place and enough moving parts to genuinely delegate. If you're a solo founder or your business is still in early stages, the investment won't deliver the return it should. When you're ready to build, we'll be here.
9. How is AgentSync different from a VA platform or freelancer marketplace?
On a VA platform, you're hiring a contractor who is likely juggling multiple clients, has no formal training standard, and no one accountable for their performance except themselves. With AgentSync, your assistant is a dedicated full-time team member - employed and backed by us, certified through our EA Accelerator™ program, matched to your working style, and continuously upskilled through AiSync™. We act as a long-term partner, not a one-time placement service.
10. What are the commercial terms?
Placements are invoiced monthly in advance at the start of each month. The notice period is 60 days. Your assistant works 8-hour days with two paid 15-minute breaks. GST applies to Australian clients, and pricing is valid for 30 days from quote as it may vary slightly due to foreign exchange rates.
